The application of computer-generated imagery in live-video streams as a way to enhance the perception of the real world.
Ronald Azuma offered a definition in 1997.
Azuma's definition says: Augmented Reality combines real and virtual and is interactive in real time and is registered in 3D.
Augmented Reality is found in modern smartphones that use a Camera, GPS, Accelerometer or a Solid State Compass.

One of the first commercial applications of Augmented Reality was the first down line indicated in yellow in televised football games.

ReplyDeletea "blended blog" probably works well for you, but given the amount of research I expect for each project it would be helpful to a time-poor lecturer if you created a unique blog for each project. For your convenience you can still link back to a "parent blog".
So please create a unique blog for media theory and clearly distinguish between Project 1 (info-graphic) and project 2 (podcast) research.
Cheers,
