Augmented Reality

Scientists and researchers have managed to develop a new kind of technology that has left a very thin line between reality and the virtual world combining sound, smell, touch etc with graphics.

The application of computer-generated imagery in live-video streams as a way to enhance the perception of the real world.

Ronald Azuma offered a definition in 1997.
Azuma's definition says: Augmented Reality combines real and virtual and is interactive in real time and is registered in 3D.

Augmented Reality is found in modern smartphones that use a Camera, GPS, Accelerometer or a Solid State Compass.

Making a phone call using the palm of your hand.

One of the first commercial applications of Augmented Reality was the first down line indicated in yellow in televised football games.

a "blended blog" probably works well for you, but given the amount of research I expect for each project it would be helpful to a time-poor lecturer if you created a unique blog for each project. For your convenience you can still link back to a "parent blog".
So please create a unique blog for media theory and clearly distinguish between Project 1 (info-graphic) and project 2 (podcast) research.
    Cheers,
